We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership that will shake up web3 gaming.
GRAMPUS CWC, a blockchain technology powerhouse, has joined forces with us to bring their innovative games to Immutable zkEVM.
This collaboration is a testament to our position as the #1 web3 gaming platform, and we couldn't be more excited about what's in store.
Here's the lowdown on this partnership.
Bringing popular titles to Immutable’s ecosystem
GRAMPUS CWC isn't coming to the table empty-handed and is set to onboard two key titles to our platform.
The first is Norma in Metaland, a web3 reboot of the wildly popular Cooking Adventure. With over 33 million players worldwide (across mobile and PC,) this game is already a hit in the web2 space.
Now, it's finding a new home on Immutable zkEVM.
The second title is planned for next year. My Merge Chef builds on the world of chef “Norma,” offering players a streamlined and intuitive gameplay experience.
We know gamers are going to love these titles, and we can't wait to see them thrive in the Immutable ecosystem.
Immutable zkEVM: powering the future of gaming
Immutable zkEVM, powered by Polygon, is designed to help game studios create frictionless experiences for players and grow their game economies.
It's not just about making great games - it's about making it easier to build great games (while benefiting players, studios, and developers alike).
Andrew Sorokovsky, our VP of Global Business Development, shared his thoughts on the partnership:
"We're thrilled to have GRAMPUS join the Immutable gaming family. Their deep experience with web2 titles, combined with the strength of Immutable zkEVM, will help them break new ground in the web3 gaming space."
A partnership built for web3 innovation
This collaboration is about bringing exciting games to Web3 and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in gaming.
As our co-founder and president Robbie Ferguson recently pointed out, "The whole reason we're doing this is to shift the paradigm of what ownership means in a digital context for gamers. Every single year, gamers spend 150 billion dollars (USD) on in-game transactions for items they don't own and can't sell. Our vision is to create a world where that is real value, that they can own, trade, sell, use in other games, and ultimately have property rights over."
John CHO, CW3O of GRAMPUS, echoed this sentiment:
"We expect that the experience and strategy of both companies in the web2 and web3 fields will create sufficient synergy through this partnership to bring innovative changes to the web3 gaming experience."
John also emphasized their commitment to quality:
"We plan to do our best to provide games with the original fun of games and web3 experience, including 'Norma in Metaland' and 'My Merge Chef' scheduled for release next year."
Bridging web2 and web3
GRAMPUS CWC's strategy extends beyond these initial titles.
They plan to launch their casual shooter 'Juicy Adventure' on the GRAM Ecosystem as a web3 early access version within the year, followed by a web2 version next year.
As the leading web3 gaming platform, we're committed to supporting innovative projects like these.
The partnership with GRAMPUS CWC aligns perfectly with our mission to bring true digital ownership and cutting-edge gaming experiences to players around the globe.
