So it’s time to fund your passport so you can buy some in-game assets! Let’s take a look at how you can do that.
First, let’s check a few things to make sure we have all the right information:
- What chain is your game on? - Immutable supports two chains Immutable X and Immutable zkEVM. A game can live on either chain within the Immutable ecosystem so make sure to check which chain your game is on. For example:
- Guild of Guardians is on zkEVM
- Illuvium is on Immutable X
- What Tokens will you need? - Check what tokens you will need for the purchase you are trying to make. Some assets will require USDC, some ETH others $IMX, make sure to check which one you need.
- Note: Passport is a layer 2 wallet - Both Immutable zkEVM and Immutable X are layer 2 chains built on top of ethereum. This means when you add funds to your Passport Wallet you will need to move funds from layer 1 to layer 2.
How to fund your passport
How to add funds to the Immutable zkEVM chain
On your passport dashboard you can: buy, swap, bridge or transfer
- Add funds using a Debit Card
- Transak (supports $IMX, ETH, USDC)
- Bridging from a centralized exchange (CEX)
- Layerswap (Supports $IMX, ETH, USDC and $GOG)
- Bridging from another EVM chain or Ethereum (L1)
- Squid (Supports $IMX, ETH, USDC and many more!)
- Layerswap (Supports $IMX, ETH, USDC and $GOG)
- Native Bridge powered by Axelar (Only supports moving $IMX, ETH or USDC from/to ETH L1)
